William “Wink” Pearson is a principal member of Pearson Law Group where he practices environmental law and commercial litigation. For the past twenty-five years, Wink has represented clients in a broad range of environmental issues, disputes and forums. He works with clients in a variety of industries and business – manufacturing, paints, solvents, petroleum, transportation, mining, real estate development, banking, insurance, utilities and pesticides.
He is a former partner in Bryan Cave LLP, a multi-national law firm of 1000 lawyers in 25 offices around the world. Among other roles, Wink was the head of Bryan Cave’s environmental practice in Phoenix, Arizona.
Wink’s environmental litigation practice includes private cost recovery and abatement actions, ground water contamination, public and private nuisance claims, citizen’s suits and agency enforcement actions pursuant to federal, state and local environmental statues and regulations. He represents clients in administrative hearings and ADR proceedings. He regularly represents clients in multi-party high-stakes superfund litigation for major corporations in multiple states and EPA regions.
He assists clients with permitting, compliance and regulatory matters. Wink advises clients on the environmental aspects of corporate and real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, condemnations, bankruptcy, regulatory investigations, internal audits and environmental management systems.
Wink played both basketball and baseball in college and was recently inducted to the University of Chicago Hall of Fame for his achievements in both sports.
